Our Guiding Principles – (Core values relied upon along the journey)
- The Word of God is our supreme authority and central to all we do.
- Prayer precedes effort.
- Our passion is to reach people far from God.
- Our message never changes but our methods will.
- Devotion to Christ is the norm – continuous growth is the pattern.
- Small Groups are the best environment for spiritual growth and member care.
- All believers are gifted by God to serve in his kingdom.
- Corporate worship pleases God and blesses the believer.
- A balanced ministry focuses on outreach to the community and spiritual growth of members.
Our Strategy – (The "How's” of moving forward toward realizing specific aspects of the vision)
- Provide worship that exalts God and inspires the worshippers to be Christ-centered.
- Preach the Word of God to lead our congregation to grow spiritually and to influence our world for Christ.
- Offer systematic biblical teaching for children, youth and adults that will train them in the spiritual disciplines and encourage servant/leadership development.
- Focus on creating loving/caring relationships through small group participation.
- Network with other evangelical churches.
- Achieve effective local community service and world-wide ministry.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of our church programming according to our Mission/Vision Statement and guiding principles.
- Encourage stewardship of resources, time and giftedness for selfless service for others.
