FBC Kids

Children are an important part of the church. Our goal is to partner together with families in laying a foundation that will lead a child to:

  • KNOW Jesus Christ personally as their Lord & Savior
  • GROW in their relationship with Him
  • GO into their world, telling others about Jesus Christ

A Safe Place for Kids

Appropriate safety and security procedures are established and followed in all ministries for kids.

  • Windows in all classroom doors.
  • “Claim tags” for all infants through kindergarten age children.
  • Each classroom has a minimum of 2 adults present at all times.
  • The Children’s Ministries Leadership Team monitors classrooms on a regular basis.
  • All teachers must be actively involved in our congregation for a minimum of 6 months before serving in Children’s Ministries.
  • All volunteers must fill out an application and submit to a basic background check report.

Kids are important at FBC. It is our goal to minimize any risk that could possibly harm them. If you have questions about any of these procedures, please contact the Director of Children’s Ministries or the Church Administrator.
